2008 Homes of the Year

This year, there were a total of 22 gorgeous homes from 18 of southwest Missouri’s top builders submitted for our annual Homes of the Year competition. The entries included a variety of styles, and there was something innovative about each of them, making narrowing the list down to four winners a difficult task. But after a panel of judges spent hours studying the entries and admiring the work behind each project, the winning homes emerged. The winners of the Homes of the Year competition fall into four categories, according to price points. You’ll find a variety of décor in the winning homes, including some French country, a little Old World–traditional and even one home with a bit of Tudor inspiration. But despite their different styles, all the homes have one thing in common: They’ve been selected as the best of the best.—Savannah Waszczuk.
