Party at the Lees'
Kaye and Kyle Lee open their home to their closest friends to celebrate Christmas.
Kyle and Kaye Lee began hosting an annual Christmas party the Friday before Christmas when they lived in Louisville, Kentucky seven years ago. For the past five years, the party has become a Springfield tradition for the Lees and their closest friends in 417-land. The event, which Kaye describes as a fun-filled evening where guests come dressed in their best, always features a variety of delicious passed hors d’oeuvres, a signature Christmas-themed cocktail and an open bar.
The Menu
Simply Delicious Catering prepared a variety of the Lees’ favorite hors d’oeuvres including cucumber canapés, tuna wontons, chicken skewers, fruit, cheese and vegetable displays, miniature dessert displays and sliders as a late-night snack.

The Décor:
Kaye (below, middle) hired Sherri Hobbs to decorate the Lee home. Hobbs combined the Lee’s decorations with traditional Christmas-colored ribbons, ornaments, florals and accessories to dress the space, including the tops of the cabinetry. Hobbs added a fun touch by dressing the dining room chandelier with oversized ornaments.
