How to make a spicy citrus simmer pot
3 large oranges
1/4 cup cloves, pressed into citrus slices
4 cinnamon sticks
4 sprigs rosemary
1/4 cup star anise
1/4 cup allspice, whole
1 cup apple cider
2 cups water
Slice oranges and apples and place into a large pot. Add spices and rosemary and then pour liquids into pot. Let simmer on medium heat. Add more water as needed.
