If you’re looking for a strictly by the rules, paint-by-number art experience, Elizabeth Chapman’s abstract art class isn’t for you. However, if you crave an outlet to creatively unleash your ideas, memories and emotions with just a bit of guidance, sign up. Chapman, now a full-–time self-employed artist, offers her acrylic paint classes once a month at Splatter Art Studio nestled in Galloway Village. She offers two main class types––a general abstract class and a floral abstract class for students who want slightly more direction. “I’m not really a person who teaches technique,” Chapman says. “I’m more into bringing out the creativity in each person.”
