About this Event

Since the beginning of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the American Heart Association has been closely following the guidance from the CDC and state and local health officials regarding our events. The safety of our guests has been and will continue to be our top priority.

We are excited to announce that we are taking the Springfield Go Red for Women luncheon virtual! The American Heart Association has strategies in place to make our virtual luncheon fun and engaging. 417 Magazine's Logan Aguirre is the emcee, making this an event you don't want to miss!

Thank you for your passion and dedication to our mission throughout the year, and especially during this time of transition. As our plans change for the Go Red for Women Luncheon, we are counting on your support and commitment to help us raise critical funds, encourage guests to participate in new ways and ensure that our plans are engaging and successful.

Please consider asking your professional and personal networks to consider making a gift. These gifts will be used to fund lifesaving research that will safeguard our communities, support health and education initiatives in our community, improve the quality of care in our hospitals, advocate for healthy policies and so much more.

We know that many of you have questions around how the coronavirus impacts individuals with underlying health issues, such as cardiovascular disease and stroke.  In fact, the American Heart Association has invested $2.5 million in research focused on COVID-19.  The American Heart Association will continue to update our webpagewith coronavirus health information and tips to help people keep up their heart healthy habits amid virus concerns.

Even though we won’t be meeting in person on October 28th, we appreciate your leadership and support as we adapt our plans. As a leading healthcare organization, your health and the health of our community is our number 1 priority For current Go Red for Women updates please follow our Facebook event page and invite your friends to join as well.
