About This Event
Author Resa Willis will discuss “The Popularity and Art of the Memoir." A literary researcher, biographer and Drury Professor Emeritus of English, Dr. Willis is the author of “Farmer’s Daughter and I Can Prove It,” a humorous reflection on growing up on an Iowa farm in the 1950s and ’60s. She will read passages from “Farmer’s Daughter” and talk about the process of memoir writing. This presentation is part of the Drury Institute for Mature Learning series.
