Be the first to try a pint and take home a 6 pack of our Mex-y-Cali on Friday March 9th at Springfield Brewing Company. There will be live music, giveaways, and speciality food and drink offerings.
Our Mex-y-Cali is a Mexican-style copper ale and features a toasty, malt body and a crisp finish. Bohemian pilsner, Munich and Vienna malts from Weyermann Malting in Bamberg, Germany form the backbone for this great ale. After the special mash, a combination of German hops were added to the wort to balance the brew and then the batch was fermented with our house ale yeast, a strain from California. This young brew was given a generous aging period to allow flavors to mature and mellow and then was filtered before serving. The first sip is bound to give you those endless beach vibes.
