School's Still Out: Toy Story
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
About This Event
It’s the day before the first day of school and just before your kiddos will assume the roles of full-time students at their academic schools, they’ll have the chance to join us Monday, August 12 for School’s Still Out: Toy Story, a full day School’s Out Play-in-a-Day workshop featuring material from and inspired by the popular Pixar animated feature.
Woody, a good-hearted cowboy doll who belongs to a young boy named Andy, sees his position as Andy’s favorite toy jeopardized when his parents buy him a Buzz Lightyear action figure. Even worse, the arrogant Buzz thinks he’s a real spaceman on a mission to return to his home planet. When Andy’s family moves to a new house, Woody and Buzz must escape the clutches of maladjusted neighbor Sid Phillips and reunite with their boy.
Campers are encouraged to wear their most colorful pajamas and bring a pillow and their favorite toy for a theatrical “Show and Tell,” games, acting exercises, a craft, song, dance, and visit from a surprise guest!
MONDAY, AUGUST 12 – 9:00 A.M.–4:00 P.M.
