The summer is in full swing, which means it is time to start drinking pinks! Rosé is a type of wine that incorporates some of the color from the grape skins, but not enough to qualify it as a red wine. The pink color can range from a pale "onion-skin" orange to a vivid near-purple, depending on the varietals used and winemaking techniques.

Rosé wines can be made still, semi-sparkling or sparkling and with a wide range of sweetness levels from highly dry Provençal rosé to sweet White Zinfandels and blushes.

Macadoodles are inviting anyone interested in learning more to their Wine 101 class on July 10th at 6 p.m. All you need to do is comment on the Facebook event or call 417-833-9850 to reserve a seat.
