In Rick and Alison Manzardo's Springfield home, Interior Designer Nathan Taylor (417-616-6488, below) transformed a light, summery sitting room into a wintry haven by adding new furniture and accessories in warm-colored fabrics. Additions included slate-colored velvet, chunky cable-knit sweater pillows and wintry throws on the furnishings. The use of antlers, horns and pinecones helps bring the outdoors in.
