Blood Orange Margarita

Winter and early spring is the best time of year for blood oranges, so it's a perfect time to whip up this drink. It's flavor is just as bright and vibrant as it's color.

Ingredients:
1 blood orange slice
Kosher or sea salt
3 ounces fresh blood orange juice
¾ ounces fresh lime juice
2 ounces tequila
1 ounce simple syrup
